The Bear Is (Finally) Here!

{We all get way too many emails. This is one of the reasons I don't bombard you with them. However, we live in interesting and unsettling times presently, and I hope you forgive this unsolicited entry to your "Inbox"!}

Oh well, it was a while coming but here we are. At the close of play yesterday, the S&P500 ("The Great Companies Of The USA") closed at 3,750. It is now (temporarily) down by 22% from its most recent peak at the very end of 2021.

A decline of 20% or more is called a "bear" market and so we are now in one. Such events, superficially dull on paper, gives financial journalism a figurative jolt of electricity, bringing its corpse back to life. Thus the legacy media will be whipping up a veritable storm in the coming days. Expect to see every hackneyed pundit on God's green earth come crawling out of hibernation with tales of woe, about how "this time it's different."

I beg to differ. And I beg to do so on your behalf, passionately and with the force of logic and history behind us.

You didn't become clients because you wanted to be pandered to. You wanted to be told the truth about money, as I see it. This video hopefully gives you the figurative shot in the arm to withstand the current climate.
